Description
This is a heavy duty, galvanised, rodent proof poultry feeder. In traditional poultry feeders the feed is openly available to all animals besides your hens that it is intended for.
To solve this problem, this treadle feeder was produced. The feed is only exposed when the hen stands on the treadle. Unlike many of its peers it has a lip on the trough that prevents the hen from knocking out the food.
It can be used both indoors and outdoors with the added benefit that rodents cannot chew the plastic treadle that is seen on most other Treadle feeders.
