Payment
All prices on this website are quoted are in Euro € and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified. All prices are exclusive of delivery unless otherwise stated. We accept most major credit and debit cards. Payments can also be made by posting a cheque / postal order or bankers draft to our main office address at Garravan, Oola Co. Limerick. When paying by cheque / postal order or bankers draft we require payment prior to despatch. Cash is only accepted if collecting goods in person. Do not send cash by post. Cash on Delivery service is not available unless goods are delivered by us.
Delivery
Most of our deliveries are delivered to you by courier. We despatch orders daily and in general, goods ordered before 5.00 pm are dispatched same day for delivery the following day. Couriers require a signature for goods so please ensure that you give us a telephone number where you can be contacted prior to delivery. If possible give mobile & landline numbers.
If you are unavailable to meet the courier do not worry as you can ring the driver to arrange a time for the next day or another day in the near future. The courier will attempt to deliver to you three times before being sent back to our warehouse.
Claims
When you receive goods from Freeway Poultry you must inspect the goods with the driver present and note any damages on the delivery note. You must then contact us within 24 hours by telephone to report the damages. If you are unsure about anything make sure you write goods unchecked next to your signature. If goods are badly damaged return them with the driver and sign goods damaged & returned next to your signature. If the goods are accepted by you even if damaged then you must return them to us at your own expense.

General
All goods sold by Freeway poultry shall remain the property of Freeway Poultry until they have been fully paid for by the purchaser. We have the right to uplift any goods which have not been paid for in full.
Disclaimer
No liability is held by Freeway Poultry for any injury to the customer or loss of livestock or eggs however caused by the use of any goods sold. Customers should arrange their own insurance cover.
Invoicing / Receipts
A Receipt will be sent to your inbox upon dispatch of the product from our warehouse. If you require a paper receipt then you may request one without any problems either by email or by phone. However, a small charge may incur for postage etc.
Products Returns
When you receive goods ordered from Freeway Poultry, you have a statutory right to cancel the order within seven working days starting from the day AFTER the goods were delivered. Please note seven working days do not include public holidays or weekends. We will refund the price paid as soon as possible by either Stripe, Paypal or a bank transfer, but no later than 30 days from notification that you wish to cancel the order. This notification must be in writing and will not be accepted in the form of a telephone call only. We will refund only the cost of the goods and not outward carriage charges. You must return the goods to Freeway Poultry by an appropriate courier and insure these goods for the return journey. Alternatively, you may return the goods in person. If you do not freely return the goods, at your cost, to Freeway Poultry then we may have to deduct any reasonable costs we incur in recovering the goods from you. This will be deducted from your refund. If you, the consumer, wish to return goods, you will return them at your own cost. Where products supplied are damaged, incorrect or faulty we will either replace the item or issue a full refund within 30 days of notice. We will request goods to be returned for inspection prior to agreeing to any refund at your cost. If goods are confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied we will refund any carriage costs incurred in returning the goods. A 20% return fee plus outward carriage costs will be applied to all orders returned to cover repackaging costs should original packaging be damaged in any way. No returns will be accepted once goods have been used, especially incubators or livestock items because of disease risks.
Complaints
If you have any complaints about our products please contact us at info@freewaypoultry.ie or contact us by post, telephone or in-person. We will review your complaint within five working days and contact you with our response.
Please Note: your statutory rights are not affected.
Export Orders
Export orders include all orders except those delivered in Ireland ( North & South ). Please contact us on info@freewaypoultry.ie for export prices and transport quotations. We export products worldwide and can supply all appropriate customs dockets.
Warranty on Goods
Many of Our Products come with a warranty for 12 months after purchase. All goods under warranty must not be returned to us without prior notice. Please contact the office for a returns number. All goods must be returned at the customer’s expense and insured to cover any damage incurred during transit.
Goods under warranty must be returned with the printed receipt from your inbox that you received upon the dispatch of the product from us. Goods providing they are faulty and not damaged or misused will be repaired or replaced and returned to the customer within a reasonable time frame
Live Poultry Terms and Conditions
- Payment must be made prior to the date of delivery.
- Official proof of purchase must be available upon delivery.
- Someone must be available to sign for the delivery.
- If for any reason the purchaser is unable to meet the driver we must be notified 24 hours before the specified delivery time. Failure to do so will result in a 50% reduction in the refund.
- Purchasers are responsible for the transport of their birds from the collection point to the home.
- Once the delivery has been signed for the purchaser is responsible for all liability attached to keeping livestock.
- Whilst every precaution is taken, no liability can be accepted for failure to deliver, or to deliver in time, due to circumstances beyond our control such as weather conditions, etc.
- Freeway Poultry will not entertain any other claim unless it is notified within 24 hours of delivery and accompanied by full details. Veterinary Certificates must follow where and if applicable.
- The above Conditions of Sale shall not be altered except with Freeway Poultry’s written consent.
- The contract shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland and the consumer consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts in all matters regarding the contract.
